Meet The Founder
How my story began..
From winning the Eden Project bid to building an award-winning agency, my path has been anything but ordinary.
What I’ve learned is that real transformation begins when you pause. I’ve gone from corporate marketing to raising a family, from a chance coffee-shop conversation to running a six-figure business. Losing my mum with no legacy changed everything. It ignited my commitment to create a life of meaning, freedom, and lasting impact.
Today, I help women pause with purpose, realign their vision, and step fully into their most powerful selves through The Power in the Pause®.

A look back on
my journey…
2000–2010
Raising my boys
- Stepped back from my career to raise three sons while my husband ran his own business and served part-time in the military. Became a Director and shareholder of his technology company, now with a multi-million-pound turnover.
2015
THE TURNING POINT
- After my mum died in tragic circumstances, I committed to creating a legacy to leave my family.
2016–2020
THE SOCIAL GIRAFFE
- Grew my agency to consistent 6-figures, specialising in Pinterest marketing with my sister. Hosted 3-day challenges for 3k+ people, selling out courses and hitting multiple £50k launches..
2024 –
THE NEW CHAPTER
- Sold The Social Giraffe, relaunching Katie Cooper Coaching as a standalone brand. The Power in the Pause® was born along with The Power Of Three. Integrating business, creativity, and the art of intentional living through Science, Spirituality and simplicity.
1990’s –
MARKETING BEGINNINGS
all good stories start somewhere..
- Worked on the winning millenium bid to get the Eden Project built, sparking a passion for creativity and big-picture ideas.
2010–2015
Education & purpose
- Trained as a SEN teaching assistant and served as a school governor, always feeling there was “something more.”
2016
Stepping into business
IT all started with a coffee-shop convo… and a spark
- Trained as a social media manager, landing my first client by chance in a coffee shop, earning triple my usual monthly income.
2020–2023
THE MINDSET SHIFT
FROM PINTEREST PINS TO POWERFUL PAUSES
- Trained in Positive Psychology Coaching, NLP, hypnotherapy, and energy work, blending strategy with deep inner work for powerful client results.
Now –

- Balancing a thriving coaching practice, my art collections, and a life anchored in clarity, creativity, and purpose.
